Appelmans Brothers is the story of 3 brothers who after the sudden death of their father in 2000 suddenly came on their own leggs in pigeonsport. It was a period of immens sorrow in which the pigeons helped to accept life's destiny.
All three of them are passionated through pigeonracing en each of them has their own task in the loft.
Here's a short introduction of the brothers:
Lieven (°1974)
The oldest of the three and manager of the colony. He does the administration and is responsible for the selling and buying of pigeons. Most of the time you'll find him on the loft after the races, also he's occupied with the maintenance of the lofts.
Jurgen (°1976)
Together with Filip he takes care of the breeders, in racingseason he's responsible for the youngster. Also with his brother he goes basketting the pigeons for the flights.
Filip (°1979)
Composes the breedingcouples and stay's most of the times among the pigeons. During racingseason he's responsible for the widowers and hens.
Together they form a good oiled machine in wich everyone has his own task. They experience pigeonsport day by day, want to be the best but can live with the fact if someone else does better.
